Langlee is a perfect environment for fattening cattle. 

The fertile loam underlain with clay in Cust has been celebrated as amongst the south island’s best land for over a century.

Stores are carefully chosen in late August and September for conformation and suitability for fattening on good forage, and have grass ahead of them all summer, being finished on haylage.

We sell young well grown prime cattle in April at 550-600kg directly to Harris Meats where travel and stress are minimised .

Lucie & Johnny Hustler have long experience rearing quality cattle – including developing the Langlee Park herd of Belted Galloways in the Scottish Borders, which had a tremendous reputation amongst local butchers and their customers.

Langlee Park is run organically and is TB free.

We are always keen to hear from local producers with quality young cattle for sale.
